Norbulingka makes Buddhist sacred images, such as statues and painted and appliqué thangkas, whose purpose is to support the practice of the Dharma. Because they are a source of blessings, we pay special care and attention to the whole process of their creation. The tradition of making such sacred images in Tibet is more than a thousand years old. We are making these images available today to fulfil the needs of the increasing number of people in many other parts of the world who are taking an interest in the practice of Buddhism. Thangkas and statues are made according to the customer’s request and requirements.
